He has been performing Polio corrective surgery camps regularly since 2000 under the Rotary banner and India National Polio Plus Committee at various places like Chandausi, Moradabad and Badayun ( Uttar Pradesh ) Barshi, pandharpur ( Solapur ), Ratnagiri and Konkan region(Maharashtra)Gadchiroli and Sastur in Maharashtra, Gajraula (Uttar Pradesh )Belgaum(Karnataka)

 

  • To date have performed approximately 5000 + surgeries

 

  • He is doing at least 2 to 3 camps per year

 

  • Past President of the Rotary Charitable Trust Ambarnath which runs the P.M.M.
  • Rotary School and Junior College which has 2100 students.

  1. Dr. Dipak Kothari Gold Medal from University of Mumbai for standing 1st at the M.S. Exams
  2. Dr. M.V. Sant prize from the University of Mumbai for standing 1st in the M.S. Exams
  3. Lupin Merit prize from the Unversity of Mumbai for standing 1st in the M.S. Exams
  4. Dr. A.K. Talwalkar prize from the B.Y.L. Nair Hospital and T.N. Medical college for standing 1st at the M.S. Exams
  5. Certificate of Appreciation from the Rotary International and the India National Polio Plus Committee from 2002 to 2007 for actively participating in the Polio Corrective surgery camps
  6. Was recognized at the hands of Rotary International President Glenn Estess Sr., and TRF trustee chair Carlo Ravizza at the Presidential Polio summit in 2004

Professionally started the facility of Arthroscopy in Ambarnath for the first time in 1998. Now has his own Shree Dattatray hospital in Ambarnath

Happily married to Mrs. Anjali and blessed with 2 daughters Aishwarya doing mech engineering from Mumbai univ  and Priyanka studying in PMM Rotary school
